The addition of Doug Fister to the Tigers' staff is going to be the key element to propelling them to a World Series victory. They're the hottest team in the AL over the last 30 games (20-10). Their recent crushing sweep of the White Sox and their defeat of the Indians yesterday puts us in the driver's seat. Go Tigers!

Edit: Adding Fister to the rotation is going to make us a legitimate post-season contender. We'll have Verlander, Fister and Scherzer at the top of the rotation. I'd put them up against anyone else's 1-2-3.

Edit 2: It's interesting that the top four teams in the AL for most runs scored per game are the Yankees, Red Sox, Rangers and Tigers, in that order.
