Why in academic institutes is it ok to critique Christianity but not Islam?

Perhaps academics are less afraid that if they criticise Christianity they will have a screaming mob protesting outside they’re building the next day and start receiving death threats? I would however suspect that there have been plenty of critical analyses of Islam, but as Christianity has many more people in it, particularly in the west, it is hardly surprising that it gets analysed more often. And the fact that on the whole Christians are 'tougher skinned' as it were to criticism, then it is easier to do it more openly.

But Islam is the fastest growing religion and the same fear that stopped the critique of Christianity when it was more widely believed should not repeat itself with Islam. All religions need to be confronted, only philosophies are beneficial, be they Eastern or Western 🙂

If you have unflinching faith in the one and the only one GOD who is the Same for both for muslims as well as christians....

Why should you be afraid of anything? Is it not the job of the Almighty Lord God to take care of you and all your fears?

The fact that you too are afraid, indicates that somewhere deep down in your heart the foundation of your faith in Him is shaky....
