I put to you that;
1. It is impossible to strive to love someone/something
2. You cannot know how much he loves you.
3. He doesn't actually exist (ssshhh this is TOP SECRET)
In the definition of "to strive", to devote serious effort or energy. Examples: to strive for perfection; to continue to strive toward a goal.

1)I strive for my perfection of love with my God.
2)You are right to say I can not know the depth of God's love for me. But I assure you, I know He loves me.
3)You "believe" he doesn't actually exist. You are wrong! I know he exists. This is also were faith helps, but i am beyond faith alone. I know He exists, and there is nothing that you can EVER say or do that will change my mind.

Let us look at this conversation, why do you do this? I give an answer and
was told, no that isn't good enough. I answer again, no that isn't good
enough. Frankly when I give a straight forward answer and get rebuffed it
seems it isn't really a question he is interested in getting answered. I do
not care if he doesn't think my answers are good enough, it is still why
I do it.

I don't believe Wolfie is really interested in our answers. Rather trying to find ways to incriminate us.

We need to pray for him. Maybe he will have a "Paulian" moment. (God's clunk on the head, ha, ha)

I assure you that I am genuinely interested in an answer.

But I am really frustrated at the replies! It is not a question of not
agreeing with anyone it is to do with the logic of the so-called answers.

The reason for worship must be such that it can be applied universally
otherwise you have not demonstrated that that is the whole reason.
Maybe there is no "reason" and you just feel compelled to worship, maybe
its a "gut instinct" that its the right thing t6o do. ??? I'm just guessing

I don't believe you are interested in the answers, if you were you'd accept
answers that are given to you. They may not fit your [reasons] for worship,
but you claim you don't understand it, or do it, so why would they have to
fit your views? Just because they do not fit your views about what the
reasons for worship should look like does not mean they are not valid
reasons for another.

I have given you my reasons why i worship. And as KellyJay says, they don't fit into your idea of worship. It takes faith to believe in God. And it is through faith that i love and worship Him.

Why do i worship, because i am in love with my God. Does that sound strange to you. To be able to be in love with someone you typically can not see, smell or touch. But i am not typical, and i have seen, smelled and touched Him. I know the peace of God in my heart, and i know when the Holy Spirit moves in me.

I dont not have any views about the reasons for worship. That is why
I asked the question, I have no opinion on it, no agenda.

If my son asked me why an apple falls to the ground and I said "Because
the sun shines" would he not be justified in saying that wasn't a reason?

Nobody has shown any train of thought that leads to worship. I have
demonstrated LOVE i9s not the answer several times.
