Not only could he save them, He can bring them back to life. I still have
to ask you why should He? We are here doing what we want and we have
to live with the fruit of our lives be it good or bad. Lives end all the time
due to bad choices, sometimes just one and others many more than just
one. We set the stage and things happen, sometimes God could end some
number of lives that would cause the saving many others, I don't think we
could see that with our limited insight.

Not having all the details God has, or knowing what God is doing, or
knowing why He doing what He is doing makes it very difficult to say why.

I make friends with like minds, musicians and so forth. People actually interested in learning science. All you want to do is to convert people to dogma where there is no learning new science, only the destruction of entire sciences. That puts us so far apart philosophically there would never be some kind of friendship. I could never be friends with people whose whole life is devoted to destroying evolution and forcing creationism to be taught in science class.

I didn't see in the 10 commandments a rider that made it ok to kill because of war. I think the words say 'thou shalt not kill'. I didn't see any asterisk added to it. If it is there, please dispel my ignorance.
