The two biggest mistakes in science are:

1. All the species evolved from a random accident when a little sqizzo, decide to become a man, and also not satisfied with that, it became millions of species as well.

2. Scientists believe that life came from matter,….but it’s the other way around, Life comes from Life.

Its so funny, but also sad, that the big scientists with all the funding, have got the whole premise of existence, back the front.

Life comes from Life…….not matter, and the cheating scientists don’t know this, so what are we paying them for, they say their solving the problems of life, but they don’t know what the problems of life are, and either do most people.

The problems of life are birth, disease, old age and death, and of course crime, poverty, injustice etc, but the scientist are doing nothing to solve these problems.

Scientists think the problems are that we need bigger tv,s, faster cars, electric toothbrushes etc.

The only way to solve the problems of life is to live the spiritual life, of simple living and higher thinking, and to steer away from alcohol, drugs, meat, and to stop chasing sense gratification as if it were the goal of ones life.

And of course the purpose of the human form of life is to understand what is God and what is my relationship to God, and this is explained in the Vedanta teachings.

The koran, bible, torah are a poor attempts of mundane persons to explain the meaning of life, and if one relies on these writings, they will be lead astray.

Vedanta is the supreme knowledge, and has been with man, since man first appeared on earth millions of years ago.

Vedanta is perfect and faultless.

I have to disagree with you that man has been around for millions of years.

“...The two biggest mistakes in science are:

1. All the species evolved from a random accident ...”

Not sure what you are saying here: evolved from which “random accident”? Are you referring to abiogenesis? If so, remember, abiogenesis is NOT evolution. Or are you trying to say that evolution is just a series of accidents? If so, natural selection is not an accident but inevitable.

“...when a little sqizzo, decide to become a man, ...”

Nothing “decided” to become man and science doesn't say it did. Man is not some sort of pinnacle of the evolutionary tree of life but just a side-branch and evolution did not make us evolving into existence inevitable but rather we are just one of an infinite number of possible outcomes.

“...2. Scientists believe that life came from matter,….but it’s the other way around, Life comes from Life....”

If it was always true that “ Life comes from Life” then what did the first life come from?
If it was always true that “ Life comes from Life” then, presumably, there could be no life today.

“...The problems of life are birth, disease, old age and death, and of course crime, poverty, injustice etc, but the scientist are doing nothing to solve these problems....”

Really? Haven't you heard of medical science? Or forensic science? Etc. There are also many scientists trying to find solutions to third-world problems such as malnutrition and malaria etc.

“...Scientists think the problems are that we need bigger tv,s, faster cars, electric toothbrushes etc. ...”

Really? Where did you get this from? I have never heard any scientist say any of these things; have you? -if so, which scientist and when and where? In fact many scientists are saying the exact opposite! -mostly the environmental scientists but others as well.

“...The only way to solve the problems of life is to live the spiritual life, of simple living and higher thinking, and to steer away from alcohol, drugs, meat, and to stop chasing sense gratification as if it were the goal of ones life....”

Science does not say or imply anything about what the “goal” of our lives should be let alone that we should use “alcohol, drugs, meat” etc. (And what have you got against “sense gratification” anyway? Are you against any form of fun? ).

I totally agree with you apart from points 1 & 2.

Come on vishvahetu...don't you think it's time to back up your claims with a little evidence???...throw us some unbiased links that, for example, show *science believes a little sqizzo decided to become a man, then evolved into millions of other species*!!!
Explain in detail the parts of such links that clearly imply this.

What have you got against colons....why are two vertically aligned dots each such big mistakes, what is scientific about them???

Fundamentalists of all religions are all the same. They think they have the Truth in their hand. They don't.

Why bother with 'evidence' when a person is totally convinced their opinions are all that matters.

This is a great thread here vishva!

~Scientists believe that life came from matter,….but it’s the other way around, Life comes from Life.~

One reason they view it this way is due to the years and years of such the erroneous conditioning of influence that manifests the falsity of matter, being it is ever a dream, a "false sense of life" dream, considered material, but "bondage","shackles" to man's TRUE being (the flesh warring the spirit/ lie war truth/ ignorance war fact)..

And due TO THIS development we, either grow into conscious understanding of this which awakes us, or we grow further and further away from our TRUE potential, and that we so correctly deserve as to what Life is, PEACE, BLISS FREEDOM, HARMONY, HEAVEN, SUCCESS, KNOWING..

Whats the use of science, to find a cure for something, just to have the person die later on anyway.

The scientists haven,t wiped out disease all together, but they find a cure for one thing, and another pops up later.

The real problem is to not take birth in this world of suffering in the first place.....so the spiritual life will sove this major problem.

But the atheistic scientists dont know anything about the eternal nature of the living being or the necessity to follow the spiritual path of the Vedanta teachings.

Yeah...scientist should spend their time researching how to summon angels, and making spiritual love potions 😞

So it is worthless to cure horrible diseases?
What, not even childhood diseases?
Don't know about you but me and the rest of us would rather live to live for another 20 years or more rather than just one month thank you very much.

“...The scientists haven,t wiped out disease all together, but they find a cure for one thing, and another pops up later....”

That doesn't diminish what they HAVE achieved. Countless lives have been saved from science.

Suffering is not caused by lack of religion. It doesn't matter how religiously fanatic people may get, they will still be able to suffer.

Are you saying that scientists and atheistic people have more children than others?
Do you have a link for that?
