I thought it might be fun to interpret some of William Blake's Proverbs of Hell. Hell, it might even lead to some agreeable conversation. So, what does this one mean?

Eternity is in love with the productions of time.

I take it to mean that eternity is the reflection upon the events of human history (time). As those in hell will not have Christ upon which to gaze and adore, they are left with their scant few years on this sphere to be repeated in their minds evermore.

Nice--and it rhymes! What's your perspective for this:

The cut worm forgives the plow.

The worm doesn't care. 😀

When it is cut, it becomes two worms!

Without the sharpness of the knife, never would he see the light.
