Accepting anything as a fact must face the same rigorous standards; the same standards must be applied across the board, or we are not using the same level of standards. Different truths must be examined with different methods, yes! That, however, does not mean we should be less careful about calling something a fact when it is only theoretical at best. Many believe the age of the universe is X; pick a number, it does not matter, because if something new comes along, it will change. Yet, knowing that, many things are ruled out because it is at least this old, not that, because in the calculations for the age they theorize the starting point looked like a singularity that banged, so to speak. Nothing about a singularity can be identified as having come from inside the universe itself; it must have come from outside it, as if it were the seed of the universe that spread out into what we see now.

Does that fit all we know now? No, it does not; there are many holes in that belief, but it has been accepted for so long that it is treated as fact despite the discrepancies. This isn’t an argument about age; I have no idea how old anything is. I don’t believe it could have started with a singularity blowing up, given entropy and what we know about explosions. Someone else pointed this out to me, but when we see an explosion, things move rapidly at first, then slow down and fall to the earth. The expansion rate of the universe is speeding up, not slowing down, morever as we see things now, there is a degradation in the universe, even in our bodies; we are seeing issues with them degrading. Reverse that, as we do with time, pointing to a hard-stop singularity: if things are degrading now, they would improve going backward in a finite universe. Which, as near as I can tell, means that when it started, it was finely tuned and running as it should until it started to degrade. That to me suggests the starting point did not look like a singularity but a highly stable, formed universe, until something occured that caused it to degrade.

Design, out of the evidence, just seems like the only possible answer, and if someone wants to dispute that, they should give a counter reason, evidence-based. Clockwork-like precision on galactic scales across the whole universe, an extremely fine-tuned human body so perfectly put together that even a small anomaly can be found by a touch, or by looking at us, not to mention checking our blood for abnormalities that only show up when the body is trying to self-correct, fighting off an issue, so it can stop fighting when it’s corrected and go back to operating in normal tolerances. All of that comes from the information processing that happens in every complex life and every cellular part of life.
