How did diseases survive? Many diseases can't survive in hosts other than humans. Many others can only survive in humans and in short-lived arthropod vectors. The list includes typhus, measles, smallpox, polio, gonorrhea, syphilis. For these diseases to have survived the Flood, they must all have infected one or more of the eight people aboard the Ark.

No problem. He who has ears to hear and eyes to see check out the reference material I gave for the explanations.

Here is one paragraph from the reference material:

"The name Ararat, as it appears in the Bible, is the Hebrew equivalent of ...Urartu, ancient country of southwest Asia...mentioned in Assyrian sources from the early 13th century BC" Ency ...[text shortened]... st in the mountains of the ancient country of Urartu, not on Mt. Ararat.

How did animals get to their present ranges? How did koalas get from Ararat to Australia, polar bears to the Arctic, etc., when the kinds of environment they require to live doesn't exist between the two points. How did so many unique species get to remote islands?

They were all eroded the same during the flood. It is a Satanic myth that they have different ages.

Diseases developed by mutations after the flood.

The change in environment and dividing of the land areas into continents and islands came about after the flood.

but not until all respective animals got to their respective environments on foot, while eating rocks from a desolate wasteland, and in the case of carnivores, eating the few cows or sheep. only then did the land divide into continents.

too bad continental drift is so slow that it took millions of years for the americas and africa to break from pangeea. creationists know best: it all happened in 4500 years.

it is more like a laughably lack of understanding of evolution

you are entertaining. once one gives up on trying to teach you something and just makes fun of you, one is spared a lot of head aches.

Thanks. The point is there is so much we really don't know about the ark and many of us would love to meet Noah and ask him all the questions we could. I think it was an awesome event and one that God was in control of to help save the human race. It shows his love for us and his wisdom in controling this major step in mankinds existance.
Bottom line is the shape of the ark is not a huge doctrinal issue that has to be proved in order to progress in spiritual matters. But one should "first" read the bible on any matter and take it's words to heart first with clearity from God by prayer.
If it is or if it's not ever found, that will be up to God. If he feels it would help many to finally believe in the Bible with this proof, that is up to him. But the bible says we should worship him with "faith and not sight". If one needs to see such a thing such as the ark to finally believe in God, they may still have an issue with God accepting them.
