Cognitive dissonance. More evidence mankind had common ancestors 20 million years ago, all primates, in fact. We all have ABO type blood and now it was shown that set of blood types came about much earlier than previously thought. DNA analysis showed this.
Frankly, from my viewpoint, if the liberals believe they were evolved from apes, then they are probably correct, and have not yet evolved much further

Yes, similarity is one of the best indicators of relation. There is no other reasonable explanation for the level of similarity we observe.

There is a difference in "neccessary" and "sufficient". Similarities are necessary, but not sufficient to indicate proof of common lineage. Your 'explanation' that they are both 'life forms' is in fact not an explanation at all but a re-statement that they are similar. The question as to why they are similar remains unanswered by you. Therefore the most reasonable explanation (and only one so far) remains the one that I have given.

Its like saying evolution is true because a dog has 2 legs and a bird has 2 legs......so dogs evolved from birds.
Or a cat has a tail and a kangaroo has a tail so cats evolved from kangaroos.
It not difficult to understand that when all the species were created that they are going to have similarities because they all came out of the same foundational ingredients.....or the same pot.
All things are made of air, earth, water, fire, ether, mind, intelligence and ego................so they are going to be similar very often in many ways.
Cheating science is just scratching around with the pot of ingredients to attempt to prop up the false theory of evolution.
None of these similarities mean anything except that one creator created everything with the same ingredients earth, water, fire, air ether, mind intelligence and false ego.
