I will look at your post on Lazarus. As I remember you had strong ideas about there being no eternal retribution in the Bible.

Incidently, effective and powerful prayers are no small thing. Only at the end of history will we see what the prayers of God's faithul did to alter the course of history. Praying for the government is no mere sanctimonious excercise.

People strive about position and enfluence. But they underestimate the power of prayers which can touch the throne of God and move His hand.

But we have to be the kind of people whose prayers will be heard and which reach the throne of God.

Anyway, there is a great deal to learn from these two books, especially regarding authority. I won't go into detail about it here, of course.

I'd start with "Under Cover," by John Bevere first. Watchman Nee is a ...[text shortened]... standing, but is a heavier read.

PM me and let me know what you think.

Peace, brother.
You've a good wife no doubt.

I'll be sure to look them up. It may be a while.

Peace to you as well.

I do not trust him, but more people in this country did enough to vote

again, what are you trying to communicate? that only americans can understand the true value of your post? that unless you are an american you are not permitted to speak in the company of one? that i am not allowed to point out that you communicated nothing in the post i was referring, only your ignorance of future events and your decision to support(surprise, duh) someone who you agree with. unless you make a habit of not supporting those that you agree with, you just pointed out something obvious, something that we all do.

congratz on being so speshul.

I didn't see any questioning of "god's story" there.

Where was the questioning of "god's story?"

All I saw was an ignorant assertion that the creation of Eve was a kind of afterthought.

it was not so ignorant. god created man, and only after he saw that he was lonely. so it is a valid argument that eve was an after thought .

That's not what Genesis 1:26,27 says. "So God created man ... male and female created He them ..."

God knew exactly what He was doing as always. It was Adam who was delighted and surprised to see his wife.

The surprise was not on God's part. His building up anticipation in Adam's heart was not a reflection of God improvising.

You're projecting your bias.

I'm an American, and proud of it. This is the greatest nation on earth in spite of all the garbage that's spread around about it.

But in my opinion America is on the decline because of liberalism.

Thanks to 50 years of liberalism being taught in our schools we now have enough people dumbed down enough to vote for a socialist.

Any one who has a problem with my views and opinions and beliefs, and wants to lambast me personally, then go for it.

Like the song says by Tom Petty, "you can back me up against the gates of hell, but I won't back down."

I asked this question before. Did you reply?

Where in the US Constitution does it say the United States must never have a Socialist economic system ?

Just for argument's sake. Does the American Constitution insist that the US must never be Socialistic ? Where ?
