Many Atheists neglect Faith Perception. There are exceptions, including Einstein.

Einstein was an atheist who absolutely didn't believe in faith based beliefs.

However the reason that 'many atheists neglect "faith perception"' is because there is no such thing.

People do not have any magical powers for just guessing how the universe works.

When people have tried they have almost universally got it completely wrong.

Only when people have used evidence and reason in the form of science have they made any progress.

Also 67% of what? you're talking nonsense again.

Without leaves, a tree will only withstand 84% of the wind before it yields its fruit to the scavengers. This coupled with the perseverance of nature shows only too well the folly of Christianity.

Facts tell us how things work and how certain actions were done.
Facts can prove truth and smash lies.
Facts can demonstrate how crimes were committed and indeed
who may have committed them.
Facts can prove DNA links to family lines, objects and events.
Facts can even predict to a certain degree how events might progress
or how people might act in the future.

In short, rational examination and reasoned debate can achieve results.

Religion is based on superstition and has no facts.
Religion has divided this world and all it's people for thousands of years.
Religion demands absolute compliance or else it's excommunication or disfellowship
Religion is corrupt and has only one master......................money.
Religion has no love for human kind only misery does it offer.

DNA proves an intelligent cause in creation. In turn that intelligent cause disproves evolution which has no intelligent cause. In fact, Evil-lution has no cause at all, because it never happened and never will happen.

From all phenomena that can possibly appear
Our species specific interface between ourselves and the observer universe
Triggers into existence the world of our everyday experience
A world whose essential character is conscious and dependent on our consciousness;
Each sentient being unfolds its unique reality individually and collectively
According to its species specific interface between itself and the observer universe –according to its Mind

This kind of nonsense, from a human being who is old enough to know better, just leaves me speechless. How can you look at the world around you and remain so blind and unenlightened?

A video with less offensive sarcasm but thoughtful.

Stephen Meyer on Intelligent Design:

"What is the Origin of Digital Information in DNA?"

Einstein was a non-supernaturalist pantheist who specified "Spinoza's God".

vistesd,

Have you seen any of the videos or books by one Jewish MIT physicist Gerald Shroeder?

He apparently has a lot of knowledge about science and the rabbinical writings.

He is very interesting.

No, but thanks for the recommendation; it is added to my list, as I rebuild (slowly and frugally) my resources . . .

As you might have noticed, I am re-immersing in my Judaic studies—I set it aside for some personal reasons; am returning for some personal reasons—but so much ground that needs to be recovered! My Hebrew has degenerated from “minimal” to “impoverished”. 🙁 Also, I had to do a major purge of my bookshelves (or at least thought that I did), and a lot of my resources went; I still have a few, which I am revisiting before I can move on too far . . . .

I did read a book some years ago by Daniel Matt (a pretty renowned Jewish scholar, whose major work is a multi-volume translation of the Zohar, of which I have 5 volumes) called God and the Big Bang—but Matt is (like me) a non-dualist, and so “God” does not refer to the God of dualist-theism. Nondualism is a very major stream in Judaism.

From the Zohar’s commentary on Genesis 1:1—

“Beyond that point, nothing is known.
So it is called Beginning.”

I am not saying that these rabbis knew anything about science—only that their metaphysics sees “Beginning” as analogous to the singularity, beyond which is not nihil but the unknown.

Again, thanks for the heads up.

What is the short Internet Discussion style explanation of non dualism ?

I will not count it as too indepth.
