I am glad you are back safely. What does one do at a Christian Retreat?

Fawn over each other's 'salvation' in spite of explicit statements in the Bible
which would invalidate such a claim.

Anything you feel like; if you're a Born-Again Christian God forgives all your sins no matter what you do, anyway. They could have been roasting two year olds like marshmallows and it's all cool with the Man Upstairs.

Very funny, but perhaps you should do more research into what is okay with "the Man Upstairs."

Usually we go gather and hear motivational speakers which just get us more excited bout our brainwashing.

I was referring to the original poster's belief system which he has repeated here many times.

Are they kind of like the Nuremburg rallies?

I live and work on the top floor of my respective buildings. There is no man upstairs or, if there is, he's very quiet...

it's o.k. to roast like two year old marshmallows with God... as long as you have kept them fresh in an airtight bag or you can get sick from eating rotten food, however rotten corn is a delicious to some here in NZ, so i'm guessing this is alright too.

That sounds plausible. I was hoping for something more daring: ouija boards, faith whales, whatnot.

Indeed, a retreat without faith whales isn't worth much. I'd also expect them to do some penting and painting, as well as repenting and repainting.

Who ordered the retreat, and who were the Christians attacking?
