Most theists believe in 1 god. If one god is possible, why not two , or a thousand? (Or none). Please no malarky about Jesus.
But according to the commandements only one can be worshipped.

Find me the citation.
Why is he afraid of other gods if there are no other gods?
Like me saying I'm afraid of pink elephants if I know there aren't any. By being scared of them I know that there are pink elephants.
So if god aknowledge other gods, being scared of them, then there are, right?

Why should god be afraid of something which isn't there? He's onnipotent, remember?
(I have an answer that is consistent with his omnipotence, but unless you answer the question above, I'll know you're just firing shots in the dark without any consistency)

Do I believe in the omnipotnece of god or do I not, you soon ask.
I answer: I don't believe in the christian god as he is described in the christian bible. I cannot believe in an evil god that wipes out nearly the whole population from the face of the Earth. Hitler tried but failed. God succeded with the flooding, according to the bible. He is more evil than Hitler. And that is the god the christian want to believe in? No way I will.
There is no evil god in my religion.
