Several members of my family have seen them roaming their homes, and they are usually people (some related, some not) that died suddenly or had violent deaths.
That's how I know they exist.

Mind you, it's not as if almost everyone on this forum doesn't hear voices or see imaginary things....

The hysteria associated with burning witches in the middle ages and more recently UFO sightings and alien abductions are all classic examples.
Aliens, spacecraft and strange alien motivations are all things that we accept as a matter of course, through the science fiction books and films and TV programs of the last 50 years or so.
So, when confronted with an unusual experience - one that can't apparently be explained - some people will choose these as crutches/labels on which to name their experience and in that way understand it.
Ghosts are exactly the same.
Those of you who have seen them or know others who have seen them, may genuinely believe in their existence. Coupled with pop culture and a desire to believe in an existence beyond death, it's understandable.
But there's no scientific basis for such a belief.

lots of things. his lyrics predict his death for one. i can post a few links but they are not appropriate for a 14 years and up site, ill message it to you though if you want.
Back to Elvis, lots of people have, or at least claim to have, seen him. Surely, that means that Elvis isn't dead? What happens to that hypothesis when he is exhumed and his bones shown to you (and obviously DNA typed, to show it was his skeleton, not anyone elses)?
The question really comes down to this; how do you decide what is real, and what is not real? People's testimony is rarely reliable, even if they are trying hard to be as transparent and honest as possible. The brain is fantastically good at seeing patterns, even when they don't exist - ever seen a face or an object in a cloud?

heres one, listen to the words to the clips of songs in there. the "7 day theory" basically states that the reacurring "7"s are not coincidence and tupac did it on purpose and for a reason. also, on the album released around the time of his death, he used the name Makaveli, which Niccolo Machiavelli who supposedly believed in faking your death to decieve your enemies.
