Unkind, hardly, just frustrated. Does RBHILL have a direct line to God that grants him knowledge of His will? This kind of conjecture is exactly what has fractured the various sects of Christianity over the centuries and, furthermore, drives people like myself away from organized religion.

Am I just mean? I can understand how you'd have that impression, but, the truth is that my personal quest for spiritual truth has floundered in the untruths, mixed messages an blatant contradictions that litter organized religion.

Now you expect me to tolerate the idea that God killed a couple of dozen people to bring us together? No! That's cr@p and should be pointed out as such. If RBHILL, or anyone else for that matter, claims to be mainlining God's thoughts, I'm going to call them out. Am I wrong in doing this? Am I wrong in suggesting that RBHILL should be very familiar with the bible? Certainly more familiar than I am? I am staggered at how many self professed Christians are ignorant of what the bible contains. You should KNOW what you believe and be prepared to defend it. Am I wrong?

I agree Hand (first time for everything, huh?!).

Evils like this should never be defended, or shrugged off in the flippant manner that so many of the "Christians" seem to be doing here. If this is the way Christians try and rationalise this, they can no longer claim the moral high ground.

Actually, other than your fantasy land socialistic tendencies, I agree with you fairly often... I'd be worried if I was you.

Hmmm . . .

Am I wrong?

No.

The first time I ever posted on here, I got handed my head (rightfully) because I could not mount a cogent argument for my assertions.

Ooops! Nemesio already answered...

You've handed a few people their asses, yourself, Uncle Stephen.

Unfortunately, RBHILL has had his handed repeatedly, but he is utterly impervious to it. He still
believes that 'born again' and 'personal savior' are theologically cogent, even though he doesn't
know what they mean or how they are utterly irreconcilable with the New Testament.

I'm not trying to hand anyone their ass. I just want to get off the vapid circular reasoning merry go round and focus on an objective spiritual exploration.
