So what are you afraid of? Is it necessary for our survival or does it impeed us from reaching our potential or a combination thereof?

Also in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" Dr. Gonzo gets the "fear" and feels he cant continue in a certain situation.(Lol)
There is another quote at the start of that movie/book and its fear related-" He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man."

I'm afraid of lightning. It's bright, loud, lethal, and unnervingly random. Usually people ignore the danger of lightning because most people possess something called narcissism, which means they think the lightning will strike only other people.
