i dont know much about biblical archaeology so cant offer much in the way of my own opinion, but i stumbled on this while reading about the subject. i though you might be interested as it offers a different opinion also from a christian point of view.

The extreme heat came from volcanoes which happened in the deep past way before mankind came around. I walked the hills of Masada several times and saw all that and it looked to me like the remains of volcanic activity.

If you turn left from looking at the sulfur you can see the remains of the roman armies that attacked Masada. I lived in Israel for 4 years and saw a whole lot of it as you can imagine.

The fire and brimstone came from volcanoes. Sorry, I doubt very much your mind would be changed but that's the fact of the thing. BTW, they present those features as if they were buildings, they are definitely NOT buildings, they are left over features that were a little bit stronger and are still there after many eons of weathering.

They could cut those structures up all the way through top to bottom and find nothing but sulfur and such, not a building at all. The charcoal they found made them convinced they were the remains of buildings but if so you would find more than one square inch, like boards burned up ten feet long if it was a building. There are always tree stumps and such in volcanic magma. They just made up suppositions based on fairy tales. Those features were there way longer than mankind was a twinkle in the Earth's eye.

If you don't think sulfur can come from volcanoes look at this link:

The Muslims want to eliminate the history of Israel, I suspect. They
would rather nothing come out about it because they believe the true
line from Abraham chosen by God of the Savior of the world is through
Ishmael.

wrong conclusion derived from circumstantial evidence. it is not uncommon for primitive people (and even some modern backwards ones) who witness natural/casual disasters and attribute them to some supernatural force of their preference.

But there is an account written in the Holy Bible that says cities were
destroyed in a manner like this. A volcano may have produced this if
you prefer, but does that prove the cities never existed because you
think it was not described as you would have done it?

I never said those cities never existed. Where did you get that idea? I said if those structures were the remains of buildings, the charcoal remains would have been a lot more than 1 square inch. Try getting your reading comprehension down before making these statements.
