dionysus was not supposed to be a saviour, he was a god and he never died

if you really want to play the original jesus game, osiris fits better.
not buying Osiris but did find that Nazareth did not exist in the proposed time of Christ.

he was a benevolent king, he died (killed), then he was resurrected and saved everyone. now he rules over the underworld as a benevolent judge and is the source from which all life, vegetation and the bounty of the nile comes from.


pretty similar. more so than dionysus who really has 0 similarities.
