I think more like 6000 but who is counting🙂 Did you see the bit about the vertical oriented whale fossil, proving the earth is less than 10K? Priceless.

As Richard Dawkins would say, "I got more important things to do".
So you don't remember the torture of christians who left the faith in the 1300's, and such? The inquistion? You don't think that is like the Taliban?

How bout something a bit closer in time? Does the phrase 'witch hunt' sound familiar?

How bout the KKK spouting religious doctrine while they are hanging and torturing blacks in the south 60 years ago?

Oh, sorry, they were not "REAL" christians, I forgot.

Why not? The scientist living today are probably less than 100 years
old so how can they know how old the earth is? 10,000 years seems
very old to me, but young in comparison to 4.5 billon years. Everything
that we know of could have happened within that 10,000 years, except
for evolution, which is not true anyway. There is no reason to believe
that the earth is any older.

No, I don't remember nothing about it.

I know, crazy stuff indeed. The bit that really cracked me up though was when he said I'd been indoctrinated!

If the earth is only 10,000 years old then some sort of 'god' does exist and it has gone to ridiculous lengths to hide the age of it's creation from the denizens thereof. It has allowed us a host of different dating techniques, all independent of each other and all of which produce results that pretty much always agree and which categorically refute your 'young earth' hypothesis. Now I wouldn't say I believe that god doesn't exist per se, but I certainly believe that that god doesn't exist. And furthermore I'm surprised that any rational person would accept such a god. It doesn't sound very impressive compared to one which could create the universe in an instant and then leave it to it's own devices for 14 or so billion years in order for us to spontaneously arise from some kind of organic soup. I guess your god wasn't smart enough to do that eh?

Your education is showing. Double negatives. At any rate it is fully recorded in christian history. For instance, in the name of your god, Aborigines in Australia were forced to go to white schools, be taught the bible, converted to your religion, destroying a civilization that had been there way before christ. Same thing with Native Americans. The only country that didn't screw with natives were the French, they did not interfere so much with the native americans. The rest though, you may have heard of Wounded Knee?

The oh so enlightened American military killed thousands of native americans on that journey, giving them blankets they knew to be contaminated with typhoid.

All in the name of your god.

I'll give you a clue: The natives now on reservations have the highest illiteracy rates, the highest alcoholism rates, highest suicide rates of any other society in the US.

Yessir, real nice thing we did, converting them to christianity.

Then we can talk about Cortez in South America and Mexico. Nice christian thing he did there.

The dating results do not agree with each other at all. There are dates all
over the place. Then a so called dating expert has to come along and
decide which ones he likes best.

God created man in the same form you see him today. He did not
evolve from some kind of organic soup, but was designed, formed, and
shaped from the elements of ground on the earth. And the earth has
only been circling the sun for about 10 thousand years. All the evidence
points to it. Anyone that says the earth is 4.5 billion years old is just
repeating a lie someone told years ago for the proof is not there.

A rational person would have no choice but to except the God of the
Holy Bible since there is none other.

That history was probably written by atheist who did not like
Christians. I have heard that a lot of American history has been
revised to support some theory. So I would not take much stock
in it. Today most atheist say that most of our early leaders did
not believe in god and the ones that did were theist and not
Christian. So it probably was not Christians that were responsible for
what you may think happened anyway.

I was here in Australia when it was happening, so I can at least confirm that Death rates, alocoholism and other health problems are much higher in Australian aborigonal communities than white communities. They tried to assimilate/destroy them here. Thats true, not just an athiest story.

What you call dinosaurs were created fully formed adults by God
during the same couple of days he created all the other animals.
They did not evolve from or into anything. Many of them went
extinct when they were drowned by the flood waters in Noah's day.

Did the dinosaurs go into the Ark with Noah and his family?

The Holy Bible does not mention any thing about dinosaurs
in Noah's ark. So I can not say for sure, but I doubt it.
