evolution certain genes that were thought to have no function.
They said they were leftovers from the process of evolution.
Recent discoveries have determined that these gene do have functions
and proves that the evolutionists were wrong.

No. I'm trying to see if you have an understanding of what you blithely copy and paste. Incidentally, i think your spelling is fine.

No recent discoveries have shown that SOME pseudogenes have functions. From the reports abstract -

It basically means things are quite as simple as we thought, but then that's science.

So ? That's the point. A lot of these religious affiliated poll respondents are theists. So, better not to publish that Evolution logically leads to Atheism. That is "New Atheism" style.
As books by New Atheists enfluence more young people, National Academy of Science employs more such thinking people, Smithsonian employs more such young people out of universities where New Atheism is in vogue.
They're not dumb. When it comes to funding they know who not to disturb.
Get them in an honest moment and expose the agenda of the New Atheist.
Relegate Theism to the Middle Ages.
