And that verse in Peter all it means is that God is not on our time table.
Fear is a sin? - Why is it? What's is so wrong about fearing falling off a tall building if the edge is wet or a fear of drowning if your boat starts sinking.
How does Peter even know this? Did he actually ask God? Surely because God is omnipotent he would be beyond time, he would control time itself and so wouldn't be relative to it in anyway, in such a way that he wouldn't flow through time as we do (and not just faster or slower either).
