Arguing with a Christian is like playing chess with a pigeon.

You could be the greatest player in the world, but the pigeon will still knock over all the pieces, <do diddly doo diddly dum dum dum dump> on the board and strut around triumphantly.

- Christian could be replaced by almost any type of fundamentalist creed!

- <do diddly ...> Replace with anything that gets past the filter

Christians are counselled not to argue, its a waste of our precious time,

(2 Timothy 2:24-26) . . .But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be
gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil, instructing
with mildness those not favourably disposed;

There are no pearly gates. Christ is the door by which we must enter. 😏

Your analogy is more apt than you likely intended.

If the 64 squares and various pieces and rules are representative of, say, logic, to expect a pigeon--- who knows nothing of aerodynamics, physics, weather patterns or the like, but who nonetheless soars above such pettiness as board games--- to intelligently discourse with a person who knows nothing of soaring is a lesson in absurdity and incongruousness.

Why would the bird leave the sky for such pedestrian thought problems? He already knows how to fly!

If this counter-analogy of yours is apt, then as regards the subjects of the analogy, which birds do we refer to!?

Kiwis?
Penguins?
Emus?
.
.
.
Ostriches?

You don't get second crack at a second-rate analogy.

Christians are carefully programmed to expect opposition and to become more stubborn in the face of opposition. It is part of the programming of christianity. Just like believing in the original sin of Adam, just like there really was such a person. The whole edifice of Judeo-Christian religion is based on fairy tales and outright lies.

why are you telling me this? i am interested in spirituality, religious teaching etc your
opinions are relevant and valid to no one but you, it simply doesn't make sense that
you come to spirituality time and again with non spirituality, what do you hope to
accomplish here? if you dont believe in the Bible then so what, how does that have
meaning for anyone but you?

Sounds like a person who has been carefully programmed to expect opposition, who will become increasingly stubborn in the face of reality. The whole edifice of disbelieving is based on fear and blatant lies.
