Why not add a "Chess Only" forum that would only be available to subscribers. Seems like this would keep most of the trolls out of the forum and help keep the posts on topic. Most of the inflammatory remarks seem to come from certain non subs. Plus, if the subscriber only forum is popular enough it will encourage more people to subscribe.

It would appear a good idea as long as the non-subs still have the ability to read it but unable to post on it.

We wouldn't be getting rid of any of the existing forums. There will still be an "Only Chess" forum for everyone to use. The idea is to create an additional forum for subscribers.

There are subscriber only forums available.
However they are only for pre-selected subsscribers.
From your profile page I can see you are not one of the pre-selected subscribers.
