when you click on the final page you are able to click on in a thread. it is the final page after the page has reloaded and it takes ages to get to the end of a thread

If you click on the "last post" date and time, instead of the thread title, you go straight to the most recent posts. Is that what you are trying to do?

I think you should click the date, not the title. This brings you to last page.
