Anyone else excited about this.

The primary mirror is 5 times bigger than the mirror on Hubble.
Hubble orbits earth at 300 + miles above earth
The James Webb is set to orbit nearly a million miles from Earth

I can't wait to see the images!

Interesting stuff, but it looks like a money-pit and to see what - higher definition and magnification of what Hubble already does brilliantly.

Except the main recipients (customers) of the images would be scientific institutions, probably also funded by taxpayers money. Then the tax payers would simply end up paying for all the extra accountants and paperwork as well.
