What do you mean by 'singular event'?

Either an extinction or creation event for examples sake.

I don't believe chaos leads to a singular event, by definition. However, entropy seems to, and it dominates chaos.

Does entropy remain a constant then?

If by constant you mean constantly growing... then yes.

@joe-shmo
If it's growing at a constant rate then why isn't it a constant?

I was playing with verbiage to be cute, that’s my fault for the misunderstanding. Entropy isn’t increasing at a constant rate as far as I know. I just know that it is increasing at some rate. By definition something that changes is not constant. Even if it was changing at a constant rate, it’s changing, and not constant.

Thank you for explaining that to me. I wasn't sure what you meant. It seems it was within my sphere of understanding.
