Oh- why don't you just post the position correctly? It makes it harder if you have to think "Oh, my king has to go there not here".

Ah, I see that it's the twin you're complaining about.

You can still solve a) without worrying about moving anything. If the change of wK's position in b) bothers you, just set it up on a real board to solve.

2. Qxc2 e1=N+
White would probably resign after ...Nxc2. He can't save his Ra3 because that allows 2...e1Q.

White's position is pretty hosed, thanks to his exposed King, loose Bf4, and Black's advanced passed pawn. It's not surprising that several different moves win easily for Black.
