The knight still works. Black has no other peices to move besides the rook so he'd have to move the rook or take my rook. But white can get the knight to b7# by the time black has anything to stop it.

Why Rd1? Black still has the stalemate after 1.e8N Rg1 2. Kh5? Rxh4 3.Nd6 Rh5+ and the king is trapped and prepetetual check, or 50 move rule, or 3-time repetition, whichever comes first.
