On May the first 2006 a farmer has 247 sheep. Every week for every 10 sheeps one is born. On June the fourth 2006 the farmer will add 100 sheep to his stock. On June the 18th 2006 40 extra sheeps are added by Aliens. (they wanted to make up for the cows)

But there are also 101 hungry rabbits. Due to a lack of carrots the rabbits eat the sheep. 1 rabbit eats 1/9 sheep every day. They will only kill a sheep when they have to. As long as there are at least 40 rabbits 6 rabbits will be born every day. When there are at least 2 rabbits 1 rabbit will be born every day.

The sheep only chances are a pack of wolves. There are 12 wolves that go out hunting every two days starting may 2nd. By definition they also go out hunting when it's a full moon. When they hunt each one devours 4 rabbits except with a full moon then they catch 6 and the Alpha male gets 8. If the group ever goes down to 4 the leader of the pack wil find 3 other wolves to join. This will only succeed once.

There are 2 hunters who go hunting every 7 days starting May the first. They only hunt the wolves and only meet them when the wolves themselves are hunting. A hunter needs two meetings to shoot one wolf. They Alphamale is the last for them to get and needs te be met three times.

Finally there is a wherewolf. The wherewolf only goes hunting with a full moon. A wherewolf eats everything except for the wolves. However when there are more species to choose from the wherewolf gets picky he eats 1) hunters
2) rabbits
3) sheep.

He is full and will go away after having eaten:
1 Hunter
43 Rabbits
2 sheep

If any foodsource is gone it won't affect the others, they will find alternatives.

Which specie(s) survive. And on which date will they be the last one(s) standing?

The sheep and the werewolf survive indefinitely.

The last rabbit is eaten on May 6 as follows:

May 1 - 101 rabbits
May 2 - add 6, lose 48 (4 each eaten by 12 wolves) - 59 left
May 3 - add 6 - 65 left
May 4 - add 6, lose 48 (4 each eaten by 12 wolves) - 17 left
May 5 - add 6 - 23 left
May 6 - wolves eat remaining rabbits

The wolves die off December 18.

The hunters are eaten on April 2, 2007 and July 30, 2007 (the first two full moons where they are unfortunate enough to hunt).

With the rabbits dieing off as soon as they do, the sheep continue to proliferate indefinitely, only losing 2 to the werewolf every full moon. Their population exceeds 1,000,000 on December 31, 2007.

Assumptions:
1 - Local time is Universal
2 - Additions due to births are made after subtractions due to deaths (i.e., if 6 of 20 sheep got eaten today, the number available to reproduce is 14 not 20).

Small correction on the rabbits (not that it affects anything):

May 5 - add 2 - 19 left

You're correct. I didn't think anyone was trying to really solve it though. I'll make one wich is diffucult to solve next time. :-)

This would have been more interesting (and difficult) if the rabbits didn't die off so fast....
