Mate in 9 moves.
White needs to promote a pawn to add a third attacker. Black has several ways of playing out his pawn tempos. White must choose his promotion carefully to provide a timely unpin once the pawn tempos run out.

AUW. Excellent composition - it is not easy to do this in a long directmate.

I'd like to know the composer's name, publication, and year if you have them.

I think I saw this problem on one of Krabbe's dutch language columns:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~timkr/admag/

Unfortunately columns 1-309 are now gone. I don't know if I saw it in one of the surviving ones or not. Try asking Krabbe:

Just found in my notebooks:

The problem is by J. Pedersen, 1952.

I don't know the place of publication.
