Anything times 0 is 0, yes, but not for infinity. You can treat infinity as a number with addition to a certain height, but not with multiplication.
Look at this (Name infnity I for now);
1/I = 0, so 1 = 0*I
2/I = 0, so 2 = 0*I

and so on.

Let's say we have one chocolate bar to divide amongst infinitely many people. What everyone gets must be smaller then anything you can hold. Smaller then 1/100, even smaller then 1/100000000, and so on....the only number we can get with that property is 0. In other words, 1/I=0
