I said 4444!, but that's impossible since 4444!-1 is impossible, as well as 4444!-2, 4444!-3... =)

EDIT: Actually, (4^(4^(4^4))))! is larger...

55 is possible with 5 fours or 4 fives...

That's the one I had in mind.
There are several ways of getting most of them, but ISTR that a couple in the 70's are tough. The arctan(4/4) is one I haven't seen used elsewhere(though perfectly legal!) - that might make those easier.
