I just noticed, and I needed to get the excitement out. Okay, I'm done. It's not like it's a huge milestone, but it was coincidental that I stopped on it.

EDIT: Sorry, meant this for generalšŸ˜³

What do you get for 8000 moves? A candy apple? Maybe a free month's membership? Oh, and if someone gets to 100,000 moves, do they become a life member?

Since you mentioned it I wanna add something.

Two players played 20 games each against exactly the same opponents. They both won all 20 games by checkmate and both have exactly the same rating.

Player 1 1000 moves

Player 2 500 moves

I would rather be player 2. He is more efficient!

Surely a game is intended to be beginning, middle and end
not as your 500 mover would be
averaging 25 moves per game is more blitz type moves per game

It was an example.

I like finishing of my opponents in the middlegame.

For OTB, most of my games only last 25 moves or so, most are done by 30 moves for sure! We get timers of G/110 with 30 sec increment and I use up most of it during the middlegame.

Even here it's close

1859 moves , 67 games, 28 moves per game.

English-speaking people aren't green, they are wet behind the ears.

Better players dont finish games quicker they just don't throw away the advantage once they have it.
