No, not lucky, just careful. In endgames with a significant material advantage always continue to 'check' if unsure. When the line is found just do it. Don't play for pretty, pristine or perfection. Just do it ugly.

Mate is mate, and nobody reviews or comments on the execution of it. It always reads 1-0 at the end of the match.
