At this stage black is a whole N up although the N on h5 is en prise. Black needs to ensure the security of his King and exchange off whites dangerous pieces as soon as possible -
13. ... Qg4 is the best try for this when
14. Qb3 maintaining an attack on f7 is probably best. (14. Qf2 is too passive and 14. QXQ plays straight into blacks hands and is to be avoided) .. Qg6 (black still needs to protect f7);
15. BXf4 (probably best as it opens lines onto f7 and even wins a pawn back) .. Rg8 (creating threats against white cannot be wrong. 15. ... NXf4 swopping off is not great after RXf4 as with Nc3 and Raf1 coming black is going to struggle finding a reasonable defence);
16. Bg5!! (the most aggressive response. Anything else conceeds the initiative, if not the game, to black) .. Rg7 (f7 must be protected);
17. Qf3 (protecting g2 and maintaining pressure on f7 so 17. ... QXB remains unplayable) .. Nc6 (getting another piece out cannot be wrong);
18. Nc3 (getting another piece out cannot be wrong) .. NXd4;
19. Rad1 [with a mate threat on d8] .. Bc5;
20. Nb5 with about equal chances.
After 13. ... QXd4 black would need a miracle to survive.

phew... that's CC. I thougt it was OTB or something, and I was almost sad, telling to myself "I couldn't play like that in a 'rapid game!!' " (my rating is close.)

It was a 30min game..but not OTB it was RTC...which stands for Real Time Chess. There were errors by both sides in there...just less by white.

I put a lot more effort into real time games than I do games here...I use to try here but corr. chess just isn't really my thing. Against certain opponents here like ih8sens I will put more effort in...but that is just because of rivalry.
