Try John Nunn Understanding Chess Move by Move its very similar.

I've been looking into the Najdorf lately and, from a relative beginner's perspective, it seems to lead to some REALLY complicated positions.

I hear you, but some hard work and curiosity
might help to make it so.

Gentlemen if I’ve misinterpreted your exchange please do forgive me. But let’s just remember that the gift of writing isn’t exclusive to Mr. Nunn, as highly as I respect the kind gentleman’s works.
We lesser lights can articulate ideas as well, and, believe it or
not, in some instances, way better than the Pros.

To prove my point, name the best written chess openings book you’ve ever read, and, through the magic wand of language, I’ll enhance it or regurgitate it in ways so alien.

No one owns the word. It’s no longer about the content. It’s about what you do with it.

Don't be so defensive I wasn't having a go at you I was simply saying the original post is very similar to the Nunn book.

I agree I am sure you have lots to offer too 😉
