Hmmmm... I suppose a 1700 player could pull this win off. Virtually all possible endings with 6 or fewer pieces on the board (up to KKXXXX) have been solved and one place to see exactly how to win with KBN vs K, although it would be cheating, is

I just tried a few KBN-K starting positions and they were all wins in less than about 30 moves.
