I'd say if you want a sharp game and don't want to learn lots of theory that this opening is probably ok. I also recommend 2...Nf6 instead of 2...Qxe5.

i like the bdg for a strong attack/ nice development in blitz games but I would never use it on CC.

There's nothing wrong w/ scandinavian, and 1. e4 d5 2. d4 can become a french with 2. ...e6 or a caro-kann with 2. ...c6

It's a more natural developing move. After Qxe5 you have to waste a tempo by 3.Nc3 Qa5. With Nf6 you exert pressure on the e5 pawn and develop a piece simultaneously, though both variations are playable.
