After searching around RHP a player profile did catch my eye. It took me up so--that I couldn't help but share it. I recommend you also read it before continuing on with this article.

User 111138 is of the highest order of sportsmanship. I say thank you for your appreciation of the former players situation. You get a very respectful nod from me sir, for your resignation in this pair of games Game 4424163 , and Game 4424164 the finest of nods! A very respectable measure!!

The fried liver attack?! A name I had never heard before this game. Quite interesting I must admit! What a great ending to watch! A few mistakes don't detract from its great flavor.

This game was one of many of Malinga's attacking flavor. A great one to watch.

While this game may not be a wild attack - its full of all the more flavor. What a smile this brought my face when I saw that this player went to his rest playing the Kings Gambit. Whoa, and what an ending position and pawn chain. Very fine indeed!

And when faced with the sharpest of all - how admirably did we see him play. What a great mate and a very notable pawn formation at move 28. Quite a game.

Feel free to browse and add your own posts if you see any other players with similar circumstance. Else post more games here if you spend some time perusing Malinga's archive. My hats off for this round fella's. I only hope I can go out speaking and playing the Kings!
OH! How noble to be immortal, in game!

One of the most worthwhile and well done posts ever in any forum anywhere. Well done Q and Malinga.

It's been wondered in the past how often this sort of thing happens. Very sad but nice of his wife to sign him off. There should be some way to reinstate his 90 day high rating and a posthumous star awarded.

This thread made me almost cry. It shows how transitory we are in this world. And... it reminds me of the this person User 178703. R.I.P.

I have good reason to believe that our man has a trophy for junior chess named in his honour.

Look down to the Hugh Finan Perpetual Trophy.

As I sit with at my dining room table playing on RHP, I just read this tread. My 4 year old and 2 year old sons are coloring before me. I stare at them and smile. Reading this thread simply reminds me of the fortune I find everyday in my health and the happiness my wife and children bring to my life.

May Malinga's wife and children live long and find happiness.

Thank you for sharing such an inspirational story.
