First time I've done this. For RHP

White (354+50/2) / 597 = 0.3383
Black (357+41/2) / 626 = 0.3178

0.3383 / 0.6561 = 0.5126

Not surprised by that. I play better as Black I think.
My OTB scores illustrate this better (from just 9 tournaments)...

White (10+6/2) / 27 = 0.2963
Black (17+5/2) / 27 = 0.4074

0.2963 / 0.7037 = 0.4211

Maybe I need to branch out from Kings Gambit if 1…e5 or Smith Morra if 2…c5

White (575 + 81/2)/703 = 0,8755
Black (635 + 70/2)/776 = 0,8634

Ratio = 100*0,8755/0,8755+0,8634= 50,35%

Last time (oct '06) it was 49,5%

Perhaps my white game has improved relatively...

(32+4/2)/65 = .2769
(43+2/2)/72 = .3125
.2769 / (.2769+.3125) = .4697 = 47% rounded off

hmm, I can tell I'm getting better because I used to lose more games as white then I'd win.

I guess Improvement for white is my goal.

but at OTB USCF rated tournaments for the past year I'm 53.43%
W=9-3-3 B=10-3-6 I get black more often than not! 🙁

PLaying white I have 50 wins, 1 draw and 42 losses... playing black I have 66 wins, 3 draws and 48 losses...

I've played 24 more games as black then I have as white... wow, I didn't even notice.

just remembered, I forgot a tournament. adjusted rating for OTB tournaments is 54.24%

W- 11-3-3
B- 11-4-6

I made a spreadsheet last year to calculate this stuff and this thread reminded me about it - cheers 😀

Here are my stats:

White
Wins - 75 - 56.39%
Draws - 3 - 2.26%
Losses - 55 - 41.35%

Black
Wins - 101 - 56.74%
Draws - 3 - 1.69%
Losses - 74 - 41.57%

Pretty equal really - Im just happy my wins are higher than my losses lol
