I have a few books on openings, with the Sicilian in it. Unfortunatly, some aren't very accurate 😞. Wanna play the Sicilian against me? Your choice of time controls. 😉

4.Bc4? is not a good idea because black can easily push-away & expand with Nf6 & d5 or e6 & d5 as in your game.

Instead an early
4.Nf3 is much better in the GPA, leading to most likely ...[text shortened]... d1 etc.
If the queen is attacked with c5 you have Qc4 - she has been pushed to a better square![/b]
I believe though that the correct response 2... d5! leaves black with a superior position

2.d5 is the correct move for black. Here's a game in progress so no comments please: Game 3534451

I would love to play a Najdorf vs you since I'm trying to learn to play it anyway.

Really? I was getting all worried and stuff.

Then that means the Sicilian is utterly invincible. >;o

No problem. - If can could defeat you in Latvian gambit and Borg, then it wont be problem in Sicilian 😛

White has a few good options after 2...d5
I'm sure you'll find games with the line
3.exd5...Nf6
4.Nf3...Nxd5
5.Bc4!?
leaving the tempting Nxf4 which can lead to black entering a world of pain after 6.0-0, 7.d3, 8.Nc3 & the KS assault is looming.

Here's a typical board after white's 8th move when black has munched the f4 pawn:
