the smith morra isnt a bad opening and isnt refuted, kasparov drew against it (should have lost against it)... i used to play smith morra but i got tired of people always declining it and turning it into the alpin 🙁

True, but not everyone knows that is the best way to refute the Danish. I do not play that against very strong players. But I have tripped up a few fairly strong players with it as they get pawn hungry.

i use to like the danish but when blak plays Bb4 and trades off your knight its hard to gain a great attak. the benko, budapest, and smith morra gambit are some that you may like to play the smith morra is like the danish but not giving up too many pawns. another good opening that you may want to learn is the goring gambit it is similar to the danish it goes e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6 d4 exd4 c3 dxc3 Nxc3 white has some good chances and a lot of space.

you're not meant to block with the knight, try Kf1

there's also a half-danish with Nxc3 after dxc4...but I don't care too much for it

KGA is one of the sharpest lines with knight sacrifice at g3 that i've played.

I like Staunton Gambit against the Dutch, especially in blitz games...

I'm a 1.e4 player so with White Morra Gambit is excellent at club level, simple plans and very tactical.

I've found that it is easier to pick a sharp favourite line with Black. Against 1.d4 I play Benko Gambit and against 1.e4 aim for Two Knights (Traxler Counter-Attack!) or Marshall Attack in Ruy Lopez.

Good choices =) I also play the benko and two knights. My main e4 defense is actually the french, but I've been play 2 knights a lot in blitz...

Quite simple actually, I don't memorize the lines, just know the Idea of it, The Najdorf I mostly play e6, instead of e5. and the Dragon I didn't know much until lately, which still isn't much, I'll tell you how when I do know all of the lines. 😀
