Played 4 blitz (3/0) games against a very strong player named Korch rated almost 2300!

This is the first game. I lost on time in a drawn (at least until my last move) endgame 🙁

Second game. I managed a draw!

Third game. I blundered away my queen in an already difficult position and resigned early.

Fourth game. Bad opening play from me. Korch took advantage and I soon had hopeless position. Korch is obviously several levels above me...

Very encouraging to manage a draw from only 4 games though.
Thanks for playing, Korch - one day I'll get you!!

In your final position your endgame is lost. Both of us did not play this equal endgame too good which is not surprising, taking into account that both of us had last seconds. In one moment you could exploit my mistake 42...Kf6? with 43.Na5 winning, instead of 43.Nb6?

I played this game simply horrible and you missed few opportunities to finish me - For example after 26.d5??? (better was 26.Qa2 with advantage) you could play 26...Qc5+ winning rook.

Before that blunder your position was really unpleasant.

I got more comfortable position in opening, but you should not have to give up your pawn (14...Qc7?) and exchange (23...Rxe4?).

Thanks for the games 🙂

Thanks for commenting on the games. It was a pleasure playing such a strong player. Hope to do this again another time 🙂
