I wasn't the quickest to spot the mating pattern, but my opponent hadn't a clue - and then claimed to have "Let me win"!

I take it all back - I meant 13 Be2+, and of course it isn't mate - 13 ... Kh4. So 13 h4! is an excellent move.

Still SWEET.

Interesting combination, though my opponent didn't spot the entrapment of his Queen. I thought I may have made a mistake leaving my bishop on d4... I don't usually play 1.e4 😛

Hah, nice one Pacifique!

Here's one where I play a nimzo-indian as black and I was all like, "Really, you're going to play 4.Bg5"? because I don't face it too often. So anyway, I castled and allowed white a pawn center and then proceeded to undermine it with 9...d6

And in summary, I think white blundered and I spotted some nice tactical exploits, doubled my rooks, and forced a nice endgame. White resigned before allowing said endgame to materialize. But I'm proud to have spotted the right continuations here, even though with better play I probably could have been punished.

I was black for this beautiful mating combo

Hi CJ

It would be interesting to see white play Qg8 instead of resigning.
