The Gambit King
Erm ... the choice of opening had little to do with the result of this game. 12.0-0-0? was just a bad move. Two moves later, he completely missed your threat of ...Bb4.

Not really seeing any brilliance here. 😴

It wasn't like I wasn't threatening mate or other manoeuvres near the end.
He may have made a couple of mistakes, but they weren't that obvious.
The line I played is very solid, and I almost think I had an edge positionally.
I have confidence and much practise in that variation. White's only try for a plus
is the complications that arise after 4. B-B4!?, which is a position that most Black
players, including myself, like to play, as it transposes to 3. B-B4, the 'main line'.
