In the words of comic book guy, "Worst episode EVER!" you can substitute episode for thread.

According to Freud, it's due to your attraction to your mother. The queen is invading the connection in your subconcious, and you feel the need to get revenge.

with low rated players, you can hang in there, as the chances are good they will rerturn the favor.
I mentioned before about using the analysis board before making a move. Move the pieces around, and go over some variations. You might notice things better and make better moves. I tend to get lazy there, and make bad moves. Im going to try to use it more often

yes, i use it for the end game but i'm going to start to use it as soon as the game has developed a bit. its easy to lose concentration and do something stupid or to not pay attention to what your opponent is doing.

In OTB chess you can actually Win a game if you throw your queen hard enough, hitting your opponent's vital organ/s (I recommend the eye as your target of choice).

That's one more difference between OTB chess and long distance chess.

I watched a guy playing a well know GM, in the old Manhattan C.C. Fri Night Blitz tourney, hit his clock so hard, and generly act like a gorilla in a cage, that the GM hung his queen, then walked out of the club, never to play there again.
Thats another OTB strategy
