I didn't see any major mistakes, but the dude IS close to 2300 so maybe you just bit off more than you could chew. I saw in a game against a 1200 player you blundered a rook so my guess is you are not ready for the expert crowd yet anyway. Welcome to RHP though. You have a very high rating for a Prov. Do you have an OTB rating? USCF, ELO, FIDE?
You are doing ok against the 1700 and 1800 set so you must be fairly strong OTB.

Thanks for your comment. No, I don't have an official rating. I'm definitely not an expert, but I really shouldn't have made the blunder you mentioned. There is a thread about that embarrassing game:

These are the two problems I saw which are more philosophical I guess.

His pieces were closer to both kings. The other is that you weakened your king's protection with pawn moves.

Thanks. Yes, the weak squares around my king turned out to be deadly. Though, the pawn moves were almost forced.

He was a 2200, but perhaps if you had more pieces around the king you'd had more options. Your knight was particularly useless.

From move 14 on your play was pretty passive.

That's true. He kept a strong initiative throughout the game.
