Thanx GP for the excellent Blog...I intended to answer 10...Qxf1 with 11.Nf3 Qxh1 12.Ne5...The strange Thing is ive seen a few games where after 12...Be6 13.Nc6?(not 13...Bd7?? 14.Qc8+ Bxc8 15.Rd8 mate!-Gedult-rato,paris 1969) 13...Nd5! as in the game Belaxe-Hannilein RHP 2009 And white has only a Draw...After 12...Be6 simply 13.Qxa8! 13...Nd7 14.Rxd7!! and wins...Other Black replies...12...Bd7 Rxd7! 1-0 Gedult-Gerlack, Baden Baden 1971...12...Bf5 13.Nc6 Bd7 14.Qc8+ Bxc8 15.Rd8 mate...Diemer!-Anon Germany 1939...But yet again 13.Qxa8 Wins!...Blacks Best is 12...Qe1 where white is just = pr

Was looking at this line years ago and remembered Black can hang on
after Nf3-e5. Was wondering if you had a new trick in the postion.

Cannot see an unbooked player finding 12...Qe1 first time out OTB.
Indeed the evidence is there to show many have failed.

But it's still a gamble.

Good, I like the hear rattle on the bones in a game of chess.
I often roll them myself. Will it be a double 6 or 'snake eyes.'?

That combo I missed V Charlie Taylor was played in 1977.
(originally I had 2007, I've just corrected it)

I did something clever with my DB ages ago and now it says
all my games were played 2007. (what a year that was!)
