There is even a website that seems to be dedicated to the whole joke.
People keep posting in here like it is real. I don't know if they are having me on or if they are just dense.
Yes,SRC is obviously a hoax.Someone put some real effort in it though, gotta give 'em that.I just didn't see the date of the first post, thought the SRC nuts had hijacked the thread.
Anyway,I stick to my claim the Bird is underrated, even though I'm 2 years late 😀

Originally posted by Akashic Bowmann I have just returned from a SR Official Tournament to qualify for the SR World Championships. I am happy to report my first place ending with 7.5/8 winning against all opponents while drawing against GM Topov, who went with the Beta Sequence of moves if you know what I mean!!
OMGGG!! FREAKY!!!
I have 0, nada, none, nothing, noo recollection of ever writing this. I never even knew I knew about SR chess before today. So freaked out.
You do realize you are responding to a 2 1/2 year old post that someone has resurrected here for the purposes of advertising an elaborate hoax known as Stanley Random Chess?
I've never played the game and I never will. But, I believe that what happens is that after 2 or 3 moves the computer starts making random and non-sensical moves for you. So, in essence, the computer is controlling all of the action and you think you are trying to learn a real game.
