I wonder how you can figure out who has the most games going, no win, lose or draw, just open games. I wondered because I am playing this guy pjhen and he has 133 games going right now including mine. That seems to me too many to play at one time, it's like having a simul.

133 will be no where near the record. Some guy here was trying to juggle 1000 games at once, I think. I can carry 50 games on a steady basis (3/7) and up to 70 if I have a new tourney just started.

I'm playing surtism. He has 750something games going on...

There have been several people after the record - heng, Indosmart, Atri, Surtism (who I think holds the record with 2100+ games).

I don't think anyone's tried it with just 3-day games, you line up in all the long-haul tourneys and that'll give you a good underpinning.

besides, your opponent doesn't reply immediately. Still you can't play good chess. I have a hard time coping with my 30 games, I can't even begin to imagine how terrible my chess would be with 2000 games...

120 used to be my average. My rating has gone up as my number of games have gone down. about 60-70 seems to be a good balance between always having a game available and having some time to analyze.
